About Us...
“Gayla’s Vision” On September 11, 2001, we were all appalled, disoriented and at a loss to understand who could have perpetrated such an evil deed against innocent lives that were lost in New York City, Washington D.C., and on a field in Pennsylvania.
When I went to bed on the evening of September 11, 2001 my soul was grieved for the terrible loss and terror that fell upon the United States and changed our way of life forever. I prayed to the LORD to remove all the hopelessness that all the people throughout the world were feeling. During the night the LORD gave me a vision. I saw the location of the tragedies, with the LORD’s hands coming down from the clouds to receive the souls those killed to be home with HIM in Heaven. I knew the LORD had a message for all HIS people. This is how the paintings and poem came into existence.
“Be Happy Today” The Poem I called my mother, F. LaVerne Womack, and told her about my vision from the LORD. She informed me she had written a poem regarding the tragedy on September 11. This poem was published in the Harrison Daily Times (Harrison, Arkansas) My mother said she would give me her poem. I read the poem and it is perfect with the vision given me by the LORD. My mother has been writing and publishing inspirational Christian poetry all her life. She will be 80 years old on November 28, 2002 and continues writing and publishing her poems.
“Gayla’s Vision” The Painting Very quickly, I found a renowned artist living in Washington State. Her name is Muriel Guyett. She was commissioned to paint President John F. Kennedy’s portrait in the 1960s. Muriel Guyett’s portrait of President Kennedy is hanging in the White House. Her successful and well received solo exhibits and juried showings are well known in throughout the Northwest. Guyett has painted and exhibited in Maui, Hawaii, and her Polynesian series was exhibited in the San Carlos and Korbettes Gallery in San Francisco. She painted frontpiece and backpiece for Elizabeth Ryder Montgomery’s book, “When a Ton of Gold Reached Seattle” is in the permanent collection of the Washington Historical Society Museum in Tacoma, Washington. Muriel continues to paint.
I believe the LORD wants His people not to feel hopeless because there is always hope with JESUS!
LORD Bless You, Gayla Masewicz The Lord’s Servant
